Summer "work"

I love to play the piano and create my own music. I have my own style and enjoy trying to discover new sounds. I've been starting to play in public more often and found not only that I enjoy it more when I'm performing, but that others like it too. For example, I went to my high school's Prom last month and was delighted to see that there was a beautiful grand piano on the opposite side of the dance floor where people were mingling and eating. I saw no one else playing it, so I figured i might as well take the oppotunity while it was there, so I sat down and started to play. Before I knew it, people were up and dancing and singing along to the songs I was playing.
So as I was sitting down with my mom and sisters the other day talking about how much money I need to make for school next fall (blah blah blah...), they suggested that I start offering to play at events. So I thought about it and decided that that's actually a pretty good idea.
So if you know of anyone who wants piano music at their wedding reception, corporate luncheon, or party, etc., and doesn't want to pay for the expensive price of a professional but still wants just as much entertainment as a professional, then you know who to call.
I've done some research and found that most musicians charge about $100 an hour for what I'm offering, but since I'm just starting out, I'm very flexible on pricing. Contact me if you're interested at:
